Desert Combat Installation Guide

Follow these steps to get in-game on ECHO servers.

STEP 1

Install Battlefield 1942

You must have Battlefield 1942 installed first.

STEP 2

Download Desert Combat 0.7

STEP 3

Download DC Final

STEP 4

Install Desert Combat & DC Final

Move both folders into:

Battlefield 1942/Mods/

Final structure should look like:

C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Battlefield 1942\Mods\desertcombat C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Battlefield 1942\Mods\dc_final

STEP 5

Install BangBangOw’s DC Mappack

Drag all .rfa files into:

C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Battlefield 1942\Mods\dc_final\archives\bf1942\levels

Click Replace if prompted.

STEP 6

Launch & Play

  • Open Battlefield 1942
  • Select Desert Combat
  • Join the ECHO server
